The Langtang region sits near the border of Tibet and aims to explore the famous Langtang valley and the majestic Langtang mountain ranges. The trek commences at Sybrubensi, which is 122 km from the capital city of Kathmandu. The natural journey provides a clandestine view of the mighty Himalayas and the trek accentuates the prevailing Buddhist traditions and lifestyle of the residents of Syabru, Lama Hotel, and KyanjinGompa. Exploring the small communities in the Langtang National Park shall reflect the lifestyles of people of Tamang, Chhetri, and Brahmin communities. The lowest altitude on the trek in Kathmandu at 1300 m, and as the trek goes ahead, we arrive at the highest elevation point which is the Tserko Ri at a staggering height of 4984 m. The initial aspects of the trek are relatively easy and don’t involve heavy walking, but as the elevation rises, we have to navigate through the rugged, and steep trails. The weather here can be chilly in the mornings, warm at day, and frosty at night.
